First off I want to mention that being pregnant in the summer is difficult. You can’t escape the heat! I have found that certain clothing makes my life easier during this transition into motherhood. Not only does the material need to be cool but the stretchier the better–amiright, mama’s?
I would like to share a few of my favorite Rue21 outfits that have kept me cool and comfy during this Oregon heat wave:
Fourth of July
This bodycon dress hugged all of my curves in all of the right ways. It’s so stretchy and very bump flattering if I say so myself. Not to mention…PATRIOTIC!
Sometimes when your body is changing your view on your body changes with it. Yes–even though I am pregnant there are days I look in the mirror and feel fat especially in a swim suit! This kimono SAVED me…well, saved my confidence. Not only does it make such a cute swim suit cover up the lace allows for airflow!
This pantsuit is my absolute fave. Stretchy, breathable, can be dressed up for a classy night out, or dressed down for that sporty/spunky vibe. Either way this pantsuit is a pregnant girls dream!
Personally, I am SO happy overalls have came back–they happen to be one of my favorite 90’s trend! I will never stop wearing them, I can tell you that much! Rue21 really hooked me up with this outfit. A soft stretchy bodysuit and large overalls to accommodate my growing belly (I didn’t even need to invest in maternity overalls… these are perfect) Always loved wearing bodysuits under my overalls because you don’t have to worry about constantly tucking it back in. A win-win outfit for this mama!
